Actor Audition F.A.Q.
Q: I worked for Frightworld last year. Do I still need to audition?
A: Yes. Everyone seeking an acting role in Frightworld this year is
Required to audition.
Q: I just want to volunteer for a few days do I still need to audition?
A: Yes. However we are not currently in need of short term volunteers.
Q: Do I need to bring a headshot or resume?
A: No. However if you have one it wouldn’t hurt to bring it along.
Q: Do I need to bring any costumes or props?
A: No. Simply bring yourself and wear clothing that is easy to
move around in.
Q: Do I need to prepare a monologue?
A: No. This is an improvisational audition.
Q: Do I need any previous acting experience to be an actor for Frightworld?
A: No. Just a dire desire to scare people and willingness to learn.
Q: What time should I arrive?
A: Any time between 2-9:30pm, the last audition slot will be held at 9:30
pm. Arriving at 9:45 is unadvisable.
Q: How long will the audition last?
A: Audition times may very due to waiting time however generally the
audition will last about half an hour to 45 min.
Q: Do I need to be there every day of the casting call?
A: No. You only need to be here one of the days
Q: I have friends that want to audition can I bring them?
A: Yes. This is an open casting call so the more the merrier.
Q: By auditioning am I guaranteed a part?
A: No. Casting is not guaranteed by auditioning.
